holiday was lovely
wandered round, saw the sights, ate good food (despite the difficulty of finding stuff i could eat - ‘do you have a vegetarian option?’ ‘yeah, we’ve got tuna’) chilled out, wore short shorts, spoke french, took loads of photos.

summary of the UK riots with a bob dylan line: when you got nothin’, you got nothin’ to lose.
injuring innocent people/properties can never be justified, but it’s not simple enough to just label the rioters as scumbags and degenerates. we need to look into why this has happened and try to change it. the riots are cause and effect, just like anything else.
